Medical Director:

A rare opportunity to take a key leadership role as Medical Director at City Medical Urgent Care Centre in Napier.

City Medical Ltd is inviting applications for the position of Medical Director.  City Medical is the leading provider of Urgent Care services for Napier and has been delivering care to the local community for over 25 years.  We see approximately 36,000 patients per annum.

City Medical is looking for a passionate and experienced Medical Director to help the organisation grow and continue to provide high quality, evidence based care to our presenting population.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A current or pending Fellow of the RNZCUC
  • An experienced and skilled physician
  • Able to provide strong clinical oversight and leadership
  • Holder of a MCNZ Practicing Certificate
  • Able to practice legally in NZ
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (full time preferred)

Medical Receptionist:

City Medical is seeking applications for medical receptionists with excellent communication skills; as part of a friendly team working revolving shifts including daytime, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.

Your responsibilities will include providing a welcoming face for the organisation and to provide excellent customer care to our patients.  Duties include answering phones, greeting patients, associated admin work, general office duties and assisting in the smooth running of the clinic.

The essentials for this position include exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills in an often high pressure environment, good presentation, competent data entry, attention to detail, flexibility in working hours and the ability to work both autonomously and cohesively as part of a team.  Approximately 30 hours per week.

Experience with Medtech32 software and immediate availability is strongly preferred.

Casual Registered Nurses:

City Medical is an urgent care centre located in the bustling heart of Napier which boasts old-town deco charm, a large number of restaurants and bars, as well as being at the centre of this great wine-growing region.

We provide walk-in and emergent care for a wide range of clients as well as servicing our member network of GP’s for specialist testing.

We are seeking applications from skilled, motivated Registered Nurses with a background in emergency or urgent care to join our dedicated team. The position is casual; providing relief cover.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in emergency or urgent care
  • ACEN Triage accreditation
  • Resuscitation skills including: CORE advanced, ENPC and TNCC
  • Working knowledge of ECG performance and interpretation
  • Cannulation skills and IV accreditation are an advantage
